Congratulations to Anna Cockrell and Jampel Francisco for having a very successful indoor season.
Anna Cockrell placed 2nd in the 60m hurdles, at the New Balance Indoor National Championships, on her way to earning All American. She ran 8.21 seconds for the 5th fastest time All Time in US High School history, and shattered the North Carolina indoor hurdles records in both the 55m hurdles and the 60m hurdles. This was her first loss in the 60m hurdles, as a high schooler this year.
Jampel Francisco qualified for the 55m hurdles, 200m, and the 400m at the USATF Indoor Age Group Championships in Maryland. He earned an All American title by placing 6th in the 400m in the 13-14 age group. He placed 7th in the 55m hurdles and 9th in the 200m dash.
